I’m in a bit of a reading slump so I’m looking for a new book to get completely absorbed in. Something be fast-paced and gripping with strong, complex characters in the vein of The Hunger Games or Six of Crows.
I’d love something that’s engaging right from the start and has that “can’t put it down” feeling. I’m not super into high fantasy (heavy worldbuilding, lots of lore, etc.) and I’d prefer if romance isn’t the main focus of the plot. Queer themes are a bonus, but not a requirement. It can be any genre even though my examples are ya/fantasy/dystopia as long as it’s engaging 🙂
Do you have any recommendations that might fit this vibe?
