i am v curiosity in semiotics as i am currently reading dick hebdiges SUBCULTURE the meaning of style. i want to better understand it more, so found some introductory books on semiotics.
found a book about the subject of semiotics, and another introductory anthology on the topic featuring essays on the topic.
wondering if any of yall think one would be better than the other, or if you have any direct recommendation of a text on said subject…
