Exactly as the title says, I've been reading the last two books in the Summer I turned pretty series and I want to change it up with a really good sad book.
I'm not really a fan of fantasy and would prefer something adult fiction. I dont really want romance to be the central plot but I don't mind if it is but no spice please

Till we Have Faces by C.S. Lewis.
It’s a retelling of the myth of Cupid and Psyche told from the perspective of the eldest sister. It’s one of my favorite books, but it’s truly heart wrenching.
