Hi! I need a really obscure fantasy/dragon book for my niece for Christmas. She’s 11 with a high reading level but no romantasy or spicy YA please. She reads a ton, so I need an obscure book to make sure she hasn’t read it yet. Were US so international rec’s also appreciated. Thank you!!

The original ‘How to train your dragon’ books by Cressida Cowell are far better than the movies, and have a completely different plot and ending and the way she brings that about over so many books is well done indeed.
Just the right age for them.
