Need to download a book tonight for bedtime read w 9yr old boy!

I read nightly to my youngest. We’ve done everything from Pete the Cat to the Hunger Games trilogy. Usually he loves complex stories but right now he is in a scared-to-fall-asleep era. Suggest me a book that is light-hearted. I was reading Dogtown but a dog dies in that story and it frightened him because he worried his dog might be next. So no death! 🤪Thanks for the help!
