Hi! I'm waiting for ACOTAR book 4 from the library and I need something to listen to for the in-between times. I'd prefer something that is not too popular so I can get it right away. I don't mind romance but I would prefer something where its a minor subplot, unlike in ACOTAR, as I'm a little sensitive to spice, (to those familiar, book 1 & 2 were 'okay' in that respect, book 3 was more then I'm comfortable with, personally. I can handle some mild spice but that's about it.)
I really enjoy diving into interesting fantasy world but I have a hard time listening to long-winded explanations of magic systems and whatnot. I don't care if it's a male or female lead. YA literature is also perfectly acceptable, as I was actually considering relistening to an old favorite of mine, the Ranger's Apprentice but they were reserved several weeks out.
