looking for a book where the main character for whatever reason starts to doubt themselves and the other characters. where both the narrator and the reader start not knowing who to trust. more a descent into paranoia than a descent into madness. also where it's not clear whether other characters are lying about something or keeping secrets. would love some heavy tension between characters.

“S” by JJ Abrams is really good. it’s more so a…confused narrator? i think if you want descent into paranoia, you will enjoy this read. there’s so many layers to it and a lot of fun for a reread too. look it up and lmk what u think 😉
