Just finished How to Kill Your Family and I want someone who feels like that "heroine". Doesn't have to be a clever murderer, just a woman enraged by her life and everything in it.

I've got a craving for a crazy lady and want to read some >REALLY<unhinged anger for the next two weeks.

How to Kill Your Family was a great book btw. Would HIGHLY reccommend it

    1. just finished Anji Kills a King and it’s basically two females somewhat like this who are constantly pissed at each other. It’s sort of a medium/low fantasy west marches story.

    2. eileen by otessa moshfegh though it’s more of an unrest(?) than a rage — she’s miserable and hates everything about her life but i don’t think anger quite fits it. it’s perfect for this time of year if you’re in the northern hemisphere, too!

    3. The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo

Lisbeth Salander is one of the most bad-ass characters that I’ve read. Shrewd and ruthless, she should be right up your alley.

    4. Remnant Population by Elizabeth Moon. An elderly lady is fed up with life and arranges to be left alone on the planet when everyone else is evacuated.

    5. My favorite genre! You might also like:

(Haven’t read How to Kill Your Family, gonna have to now!)

    6. PhilzeeTheElder on

The 13th Tale Diana Setterfeild. 2 strong believable Women and a dark mystery. The House is almost like a character too.
