Ever since I was a little girl dreaming of becoming either a witch or a politician, ‘The Other Minister’, the first chapter of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince wherein the muggle prime minister meets the minister for magic, stuck with me as one of my favourite chapters.
I would have loved to have seen more interactions like this across the series.
Are there any books that give this vibe? Political relations between a hidden magical world and ‘normal’ world??
