    Dear readers!
I am an avid fiction reader, and have started reading more non-fiction, mostly feminist theory and feminist economics. I would love more in that area (does not HAVE to be feminist, but it is an angle I like), and natural sciences (such as physics or medicine) are all welcome 😇

    2. Barbara Ehrenreich’s Nickel and Dimed:on (not) getting by in America is about economics, Society and written with a feminist POV. Outstanding book. And, it’s nonfiction.

    3. Economics:

*Capital in the 21st Century* by Thomas Piketty is probably the most significant economics book of recent times. Explores how capital drives increasing wealth inequality.

His other book, *Capital and Ideology* is an easier read. While I wouldn’t say it’s particularly feminist, it explores how economic inequality is more due to government or societal ideology than market forces. So there is definitely some intersectionality there.

      Natural sciences:

*A Short History of Nearly Everything* by Bill Bryson. Great starting place. Stone cold classic that absolutely lives up to the hype.

*A Brief History of Time* by Stephen Hawking. Probably the most famous work on cosmology by a legend in the field written for the general public.
