I'm deep into the game Blue Prince… if you aren't familiar, it is a puzzle game with what I would call layers of mystery. So, a key piece is puzzles, but then there is the way that you may pass through a room many many times, then all of a sudden look at the room differently, which might lead to finding a clue for a puzzle you may or may not have known existed.
I have not read many mysteries (maybe 2-3 over the years), but anything you can recommend that not only hits the "mystery", but even the vibe, would be awesome.
I'm not looking for "choose your own adventure" books – I am looking for fiction or non-fiction.
