I recently fell hard for the Caraval series and the Empyrean series, and now I’m chasing that same feeling again — the magic, the twists, the intensity, the everything.
I’m looking for your number one fantasy book.
Not “pretty good.”
Not “you might like this.”
I mean the book that grabbed your brain, your heart, your whole existence and refused to let go.

The Poppy War by R. F. Kuang. The worldbuilding, the magic, the CHARACTERS?! It broke my heart into a million pieces, but it felt too good to put down.
I inhaled that trilogy within three to four days
Phantasma reminds me of caraval but spicier!
Have you tried zodiac academy? My heart broke from finishing the series, so many books to read. Might be more to come and you should look up reading orders first, would to the 5 books 5 years before the main series first!
Also kingdom of the wicked trilogy with follow up of prince of sins series, two books so far!
