I also like wuxia…what about “A Hero Born” by Jin Young? I found that to be a fascinating read.

It looks like the first part of the sequel, *Return of the Condor Heroes*, has an official translation into English. There are unofficial translations of the whole book as well as the third in the series, *Heavenly Sword and Dragon Sabre*, though the quality of the fan translations is very variable. There’s also a prequel called *Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils* with an English fan translation, though I didn’t like it as much.
