My nephew and I just had a very long conversation about school, education, and what he enjoys in life. He mentioned that he really likes the "Boxcar Children" series and was interested in having more books on hand. It looks like there is over 160 books in the series. I freaking love the kid, so I'll pay whatever it takes to get him more books if it means he'll read them on his own.
The problem is that I'm not sure where I can get my hands on the entire collection. Amazon and standard book stores seem to only carry box sets for the first 20 or so books in the series.
Is there a trick to finding an entire collection like this? Or do I just have to make an excel spreadsheet and find a copy of every single book that isn't part of a box set?
My apologies if this kind of request is against the rules. I'm just kind of surprised that a book series with 164 books in it doesn't have some sort of "definitive collection" that I can buy for a couple hundred bucks. I'd appreciate it if anyone had some advice on sourcing these books.
At this point, idgaf if they are 2nd hand. I'm just trying to pull together a collection for the kid before his passion for reading books in this series goes away.
