Not only is the story brilliant but the ratio of fantasy to romance to smut is perfect.
I've heard people mention Throne of Glass but I've seen mixed reviews. Some say it takes a while for the story to build and there's much less steamy romance. I don't want to ask for a whole book set for Christmas only to not even be able to finish the first book lol. I tend to be a little impatient and if I'm not hooked from early on then I'll probably "forget" to continue reading indefinitely.
