Pathogens! Currently I have the flu and am being extremely dramatic about it which made me think "what actually is the flu, what is a virus, why is a virus?". So I'm now looking for all the books about pathogens.
While I'm primarily looking for non-fiction works here, feel free to drop some of your favorite fictions as well! It's nice to switch between the two – can be a really nice wombo-combo.
As a note I do have The Emperor of all Maladies and am very excited to start it after I finish my current read (which is The Shining, totally different vibe).
