I have nottt, been able to find a romance book that is about a MMC that is gentle, innocent, emotionally understanding, ‘too scared to touch you’ (in a respectful and mannerly way) and protective (both physically and keeping on the lookout for the FMC and giving her the advice and assistance she may need).
I think the closest example of this description is a knight and a princess (would still love to get book recommendations with this kinda trope tihi).
