Hi all! I’m looking for books for my father in law for Christmas. He’s specifically asked for books about science topics written for general audiences. He really enjoyed a book he read recently about animal senses (I tried to find the title but I’m not sure if it was An Immense World by Ed Yong or Sentient by Jackie Higgins). I think he’d prefer books about nature or animals rather than the human body or medicine, but as long as it doesn’t get very macabre (as many human/medicine entertainment books do), I think he would still enjoy it. Ideally something more educational than entertaining, while still being a pleasant read.
I’m not a nonfiction reader at all so I’m not sure where to start! Thanks!
