Basically the title. I’ve been in the mood to read some (potentially darker) high fantasy books that are centred around a villain or morally grey person as the POV character/‘protagonist’.
It can be a tragedy, a heroes’ downfall through a corruption arc, or even have a redemption arc going from villain to hero, but I want to read some books with darker themes/characters.
Bonus points if it has a FMC morally grey/villain character!
I’m not fond of long series, and prefer standalone books, but I’m happy to give anything a try if it sounds interesting enough.
