Hello, I'm a massive fantasy fan and nerd, and ASOIAF is my favourite book series. I'm not expecting anyone to be like Martin or emulate his style or grandness, but I value character driven narratives and fleshed out worlds.
I'd also like to avoid going for big obvious ones like Sanderson, I'd like to go for ones I've never heard of. Could you provide any suggestions?
