**First of all, knowing a book is “unreliable narrator” can be a spoiler in itself, so read at your own risk if you’re here looking for replies to my question. **
I love psychological thrillers and mysteries with twist endings. I love Minka Kent, Charlie Donlea, Ruth Ware, Alice Feeney, Kate Alice Marshall. Some Freida McFadden.
I’m not a huge fan of books with unreliable narrators. For example – Never Lie by Freida McFadden. I don’t dislike all of them, but generally I prefer to avoid them. Or maybe I’m just not in the mood for them right now.
Any suggestions? I love both the thriller-type and just cozy mysteries with a twist. Adult preferred, but YA is okay.
My favorite book is Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen. It starts with the mysterious/vague ending and then goes back in time and works its way up to how that reveal is significant.
Other favorites: Big Little Lies, The Teacher, Listen For The Lie, Stillwater Girls, No Exit, Look Closer.
Thanks!
