Hi everyone!! My senior thesis related to identifying symbolic objects in written stories. Example: the house in the movie Up clearly represents their shared past. I’m looking for short stories that include at least 2–3 distinct symbolic objects the reader can analyze. They must be short because my volunteer readers are doing me a favor and have limited time.
Do you have any suggestions? Please list the story title, author, and if possible some elaboration regarding the symbolic objects. Thanks a lot!!!
