Donna Tartt does a great job at writing in first person, I absolutely love the way she takes you through the main characters journey through his many observations of the sub characters.
The psychology and the descriptions of the people, actions, and scenes are really intriguing to me. I know lots of people like to recommend similar books with the same settings and scenarios but I’m specifically looking for someone that writes in a similar manner.
I got similar feelings reading “the catcher in the rye” and “the curious incident of the dog in the nighttime.”
Does anyone have any other recommendations?

I mean, the obvious answer is The Goldfinch, if you haven’t already read it. In my opinion, it’s the superior work.
