I've been pretty obsessed with Stand By Me (adapted from The Body by Stephen King) and Something Wicked This Way Comes by Ray Bradbury, both of which have pretty strong themes of lost innocence and evolving from childhood to adolescence; but, both have a male dominated perspective, so I'm seeking books that have similar nostalgia with a group of female characters (or a duo!)
