i have recently watched the movie three colors trilogy: blue made me think i have never read a serious drama book from other woman's pov that isn't romance or thriller.

Year of Wonders: A Novel of the Plague – Geraldine Brooks
The main character is a widow who suppresses her grief by trying to help others and rationalizing her experiences while living during the Black Plague. I read this in winter of 2019 so….great timing! I think it will match what you felt watching Bleu (impeccable and underrated trilogy, btw).
