I really want to read a book about how Alexander the great became such a famous conquer, and what happened after his death. But I want to read it told as a story. Any recommendations?
Also any books told as a story about caesar, Cleopatra, or any other ancient rulers.

Idk how much this fits what you’re looking for but the Lord of the Two lands trilogy by Pauline Gedge follows Seqenenre Tao and his family in their rebellion against the Hyksos pharaoh in ancient Egypt. First book is The Hippopotamus Marsh. I think they are more akin to historical fiction but maybe worth a look!
