Hi and nice to meet you everyone!
Last book I finished reading is Hemingway's Farewell to Arms.
Now i want to explore late '900 cyberpunk/horror genre, I have a background in reading a lot of science fiction (Asimov especially).
I already read Neuromancer by William Gibson and after the second reading, I found it great!
I started reading the diamond age by Neal Stephenson and I am not enjoying it much. At the moment I have in my list Blood meridian by Cormac McCarthy and The Wasp Factory by Iain Banks.
What direction do you think I should take: one of these two? Neither?
Any suggestions appreciated!

If you want to go in another direction, [you can read the Mirrorshades cyberpunk anthology for free](https://www.rudyrucker.com/mirrorshades/). When I’m getting into a new genre or area, I like to read short stories because it’s a fun way to find which authors I like without committing to an entire novel.
Snow Crash, Cryptonomicon or Accelerando
