Hi everyone, as the title suggests, I’m 29 yers sold, will be turning 30 next year February and I’m freaking out. I just thought I would’ve accomplished my goals by now and become this huge success that I’ve been working towards by it hasn’t happened yet. And now I’m turning 30 soon and I feel like I’ve missed my opportunity/ moment. I’m not confused about what I want in life or where I want to go. I have a very clear direction and vision for that and I’m sick that it hasn’t all happened by the time I’m 30. My favourite book is The Alchemist and I recently just reread it a few months ago. It’s made me feel so much better and I’m now looking for books that are similar that reinforce the theme that life is an unpredictable journey. Also words of wisdom would be nice as well. Anyways, thanks in advance and have a blessed day 🙂

Words of wisdom: You’ll learn over and over and over that there is no timeline for most things, life happens and then your preferences, opinions, and goals shift. The best thing to do is have some internal resilience so that you can handle what life flings at you.
Read: The Seven Storey Mountain by Thomas Merton
The Tartar Steppe by Dino Buzzati. It’s very much about the future, about waiting, about anticipation and the choices we make.
