female detective book suggestions

Hi! I'm an AP Research student focusing on female detective representation in literature and film adaptations, and I would love detective fiction suggestions.

Here is my criteria:

1. Must have a female main character that is a detective (preferably not a P.I. or amateur, a real career detective)

2. Must have a film adaptation, ideally made within ~10 years of the book's release.

3. School appropriate (no smut, not overly gory, etc.)
