Hi everyone, I’m looking for a book I can get my mums partner, every fantasy we see these days is actually a romantasy and his not big on that.

The books I know his read/things I know his into are:
    Dragons
    The Lord of the Rings
    Medieval themes
The Sum of All Men by David Farland
    More dragons
    Harry Potter
    Maze Runner
    Vikings

We were looking at Quicksilver the other day, the blurb and map you see got him interested but I know his not big on the romance you get in those (if anyone knows of a book like that with no romance that would be epic).

His been trying to find something new to read for awhile now so anything helps!

    Thanks!!

    1. Fantasy is currently my preferred genre. Here are a few suggestions:

[Ancient Things](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/222087879-ancient-things?ac=1&from_search=true&qid=sJnZZ24wJQ&rank=1) by Ryan English. It’s fantasy with a boy named Dirt and a giant wolf pup named Socks. Some well done magic is involved. Three books are currently in the series.

[Silver, Sand and Silken Wings](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/180210699-silver-sand-and-silken-wings?ref=nav_sb_ss_1_16) by Heiko Ehlers. It’s dragon xenofiction told from the perspective of a female dragon named Sylph. It details her adventures as she sets out to learn who her birth mother is and as she works to gain a better understanding of her recently discovered abilities. Two books are currently in the series.

[A Dragon’s Chains](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/58093141-a-dragon-s-chains) by Robert Vane. It’s dragon xenofiction and is told from the perspective of Bayloo. A dragon that has broken the bonds of slavery and has set out to free the rest of his kin. Five books are in the completed series.

The Bone Witch Trilogy by Rin Chupeco, I recommend this to everyone! I haven’t read Immortal Sins by Amanda Ashley in a couple years but it’s really good and was what introduced me to supernatural/fantasy books
