I'm a fan of some stuff Philip K Dick does, but not all (Loved: A Scanner Darkly, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, barely finished Man in the High Castle). I like his short stories too and have a decent collection of them. I find the framework of the stories really cool (example: A man running a museum exhibit of the past steps into his own exhibit and ends up back in time). I like a lot of classic science fiction too (Jules Verne rocks) and I find "I have no mouth and I must scream" to be a story I revisit frequently.
I'm REALLY enjoying "The Expanse" series (currently on book #2) and would love some more space opera/hard space kind of books. What appeals to me from "The Expanse" is definitely the world building – things make sense in that series, most of the science fiction elements are explained (example: how "the juice" and crash couches let humans survive high g maneuvers.)
I enjoyed what I read of The Witcher series (first 2 short story collections and 1 or 2 of the main saga) and Lord of the Rings. Once again, the world building of these books really speaks to me – I like how Geralt has a whole routine he goes through before he fights a beast/monster, makes the "consequences" of the world feel real and tangible. I feel like these two series are an outlier for me though, I wouldn't call myself a fan of traditional fantasy.
TLDR: More science fiction like "The Expanse" or speculative SF along the lines of Philip K Dick.
Thanks in advance!
