I have a kid who I work with who’s about 16. He loves history, bust especially religious history or things involving popes and monks. He’s leaving his position soon and myself and some peers want to get him a going away present but I know nothing about monks and religious history. We have found that a lot of books regarding the subject are very dry and hard to read, especially for a high schooler. Does anyone have any recommendations for an accessible and informative book about religious history?
