Please could i have a short philosophical fiction audiobook

Hi there,

I am 8 books deep in wheel of time and need a audiobook gap. I am looking for something short and philosophical that is well performed. I am particularly interested in books either from or are about lesser known parts of the world.

I am deliberately leaving all the key parts of this vague as I am open to a lot of different things.

Preferably not fantasy.
