I’m looking for MXM romance recommendations similar to Face Offs and Cheap Shots by Eden Finley and Saxon James or like Save the Game by JJ Mulder (that one actually made me cry). I loved Luke and Max so much. Even though I’m not usually a sports romance person, the dynamic just felt different. Beck had me laughing nonstop in FOACS the relationships moved at a steady pace and there was no third act breakup in either books. It also wasn’t a slow burn which is perfect for me.
Here are the things I don’t like:
• slow burn
• third act breakup
• cheating
• love triangles
• friends to lovers
I don’t mind instalove, and it has to be gay romance. I’m just looking for that same steady relationship progression and fun energy. It doesn’t have to be sports related. Thanks!
