I'm looking for books that get into the dynamics of kink and BDSM – I'm looking for complex depictions, not didactic or too cliché. Fiction that people who are kinky themselves would enjoy and identify with.
As an example, I enjoyed stories by Casey Plett, Adam Mars-Jones' Box Hill, Virginie Despentes' Baise-Moi.
It doesn't necessarily have to be all smut, or the main point of the story (although it can be), but I'm looking for beautiful, explicit moments that bring forth the complex dynamics of kink. Big bonus if it's queer.

Kushiel’s Dart by Jacqueline Carey is the reason I own enough rope to legally register the bedroom as a sailboat
Jacqueline Carey’s Terre d’Ange series, beginning with *Kushiel’s Dart*; the kink aspect is mostly contained to the first two trilogies, though the third is a phenomenal read in its own right.
For the Love of April French is a sweet kinky romance novel with a trans protagonist
