So far ive gotten Jude the Obscure By Thomas Hardy, though i havent read it yet. Any reviews on it? And im also looking for depressing/heartbreaking books with no happy ending whatsoever. And if you can maybe a long book. Thanks

Hunger by Knut Hamsun.
He received the noble price in literature but because of another novel.
I think Tess is actually sadder than Jude, but it depends on what you’re looking for in sadness. Tess ripped my heart out. Jude was more of a long wallow.
