I am looking for fictional history books for my aunt, she is in her seventies and she is quite able to resource her own books so Im looking for something possibly newly released, or something she may not have read yet, thats a very good book. She is a feminist as well I believe, if that carries any significance since they would be a period piece.
Thank you 😊

James Mischner is all historical fiction focused on a specific area of the world. He takes you basically through time through different stories of characters. People really like Hawaii, but really one one that’s from an area that interests her could be good.
These are all pretty woman-centric:
– The Great Divide by Cristina Henriquez
– Jam on the Vine by LaShonda Katrice Bennett
– Zenzele: A Letter to My Daughter by J. Nozipo Maraire
– The Shadow King by Maaza Mengiste
– The Exiles by Christina Baker Kline
