My wife loves those Colleen Hoover sorts of books. She also loves the Silent Patient. Right now, she's loving the Boys of Tommen series.
I want to get her something in a slightly different genre that she wouldn't normally read. I was thinking fantasy. Maybe dark fantasy.
But I want it to have that same thrill, drama, scandal, and romance of what she normally reads.
I was thinking The Hollow Places by T Kingfisher. I really liked that one. But I'm not sure if it's juicy enough.
Any ideas?
We're parents in our mid thirties, if that matters.
