Hi all, I have read in the past year or so, The Fraticides and The Last Temptation of Christ by Nikos Kazantzakis, and Mikhail Bulgakov's The Master and Margarita. All these books felt so special to me because of their inclusion and examination of Jesus Christ in a non-traditional format. I'm not exactly a religious person, maybe I would like to be, but I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions like those listed above. It doesn't necessarily have to be about Jesus, like in the Fraticides, but about something Holy, or more so, somebody holy.
Also after writing I see that the Bible may count as a suggestion. But probably something more modern and non-traditional, as I said
Thank you
