Books for dad?

Not a how to parent book

My dad likes war books, sports books, or anything related to the military. I am trying not to purchase anything written by right wing cranks.

He also enjoys hunting and fishing, so suggestions related to that would be welcome. Outdoorsy memoirs would probably be interesting to him.

I tagged non-fiction, but if you have fiction recommendations for dads I'll take 'em.
