So some context, my brother in the past hasn't been the biggest reader but I think he sees that my mom and I love to read and wants get in on the action. He said he wants a self improvement book which I went ahead and got "The Subtle Art Of Not Giving A F***" for him, but I really want to get him another book that's more of a story.
To get a feel for some of his tastes, his favorite TV shows/Movies are Blacklist, Die Hard, and Knives Out. The last time he would've read for fun would likely have been in high school, which was about 10 years ago so I'd like if the recommendation is something pretty easy to get into. Thanks in advance!

*Starter Villain* by John Scalzi. It’s hilarious with a mystery/action that keeps you on your toes. Very much along the line of Knives Out.
Lee Child’s Jack Reacher series is very action movie-y and easy to read.
I’m currently reading Krampus. It’s perfect if you want a little Christmas time blended with elements of action and horror 🤣
