I'm nearing the end of the Harry Potter series, my first real book series I've read through, and I'm wondering where I should start from there? With Christmas approaching, I think a series could work well as a wishlist item. The choice that seems the most logical to me now is LOTR and the hobbit, however I'd like to hear other ideas before I decide. Pretty much anything is fair game, so I guess book series you consider must-reads? Thank you!
