I’m not usually a fan of audiobooks but I’m about to go on a longggg road trip. I like fantasy, crime fiction, and general lit fic/ contemporary fiction. I can only get into audiobooks with a great narrator. Recommendations?
I’m a big fan of Guy Gavriel Kay. He writes historical fantasy – and he is a beautiful writer – his books are intelligent and thoughtful and have real literary merit. Just as important, his audiobooks are narrated by Simon Vance – a man who could make the phone book sound interesting.
