my mom wants me to find her a series she can read on her kindle. lots of the recommendations i see online kind of fall into the vein of boring romantasy with a little too much.. vulgar content. any good, worthwhile kindle series reads?

Jana DeLeon Miss Fortune series – laugh out loud light mysteries.
Okay hear me out.. my mom loved red riding so much and I wouldn’t have expected her to like it at all. She liked it so much that she rambled and spoiled allmost everything (RIP for my planned red rising read). So if you wanna experiment go for red rising.

My wife swears by the Thursday Murder Club series. Clever, genuinely funny, zero vulgarity, and easy to read on a Kindle. It’s one of the few series she actually stuck with all the way through and keeps recommending to friends.
