    Hi everyone!

I'm trying to read as much as possible about Japan and I want to know your opinions. What book taught you the most or you found most interesting?

Some of my favourites are Pure Invention and The Rape of Nanking, I also read classical ones like In Praise of Shadows, No longer human and The setting sun, which I feel capture the essence of Japan during those hard times.

Any suggestion? I'm open to all genres.

    Thanks!
