More specifically for loving yourself after abuse/trauma

As well as for growing up a part of a marginalized group in this hateful society and wanting to unlearn what you internalized and to be more loving and accepting of yourself

(Non-fiction is preferred, but I’m open to trying anything you guys suggest❤️)

Honestly anything by Becky Chambers will do the trick. It’s fiction but it’s so full of kindness and positive messaging, so gentle and loving, but so real and understanding too. She writes with such empathy, as someone who understands pain and wants to erase it for others.
