I'm currently reading each president's biography and next year will be getting into those presidents spanning the 1840s and 1850s. I want some supplemental reading about the time period as well. What are some recommendations? I think abolition movement would be a good topic to cover for one. Any topics regarding business? Any fiction I should read? Maybe huckleberry finn?
