    Hi!

I’m wanting to get one of my friends a book for Christmas but I’m not sure what to get her.

She is not into romance or mystery but does like a “feel good” book.

    Lookin for some recommendations!

Britt-Marie Was Here by Fredrik Backman

The Borrowed Life of Frederick Fife by Anna Johnston

    2. The House in the Cerulean Sea is my go-to, “this book is just a hug for your brain” recommendation.

    3. If she likes hiking, A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson. It was funny and made me want to hike the Appalachian Trail

If she likes feel-good but not romance or mystery, a few solid gift options:

      • The House in the Cerulean Sea – very cozy, warm, and uplifting
      • Remarkably Bright Creatures – gentle, thoughtful, and comforting
      • A Man Called Ove – emotional but ultimately very heartwarming
      • The Quiet Art of Being Human – reflective, calm, and easy to dip into
      • The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse – simple, comforting, and great as a physical gift

All of these feel thoughtful without being heavy, and they’re nice books to give as presents rather than project reads.
