Looking for fun reads on cool etymology and culture

Trying to find fun, readable (and not overly technical) books on linguistics and etymology, especially in the recent age of the algorithm. Adam Aleksic’s Algospeak is an example of the genre. The Etymologicon my Mark Forsyth might also be one.

I make a wordplay x trivia game online, and want to read more and use the learnings about cool etymology or trivia so I can share it with others via the game.
