Book virgin here – what are some MUST reads?

In terms of what I’ve read

– the hunger games series

– whatever I was given at school (of mice and men, the kite runner, Charles dickens etc)

I’ve got a few books on my shelf that I never finished including

– the seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo

– Annihilation

– Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas

– The Trading Game (non fiction)

I’ve created a list of ones I think I’d like mixed with some classics (please tell me if any of these aren’t worth a read), but I’d also love your recommendations! My girlfriend is massively into Russian literature so I’ll likely get onto those once I’ve broken the ice with some simpler reads first. My list below
